Summit Hill police have filed a number of charges, including several involving Panther Valley School District students, according to a report released Thursday.

On Sept. 18, police received a report of a fight between two girls at the middle school. The girls, a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old, both of Lansford, were charged with disorderly conduct.On Sept. 22, police were called to the high school to deal with an out-of-control student, a 17-year-old Lansford boy, who caused a disturbance and damaged school property. He was charged with making terroristic threats, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.On Oct. 7 at 10:45 a.m., police were called to the middle school for an out-of-control student, a 13-year-old Lansford boy, who caused a disturbance and damaged school property. He was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.On Oct. 8, the high school reported a 17-year-old Summit Hill boy was having issues. He was found to have chewing tobacco, and was charged with having tobacco on school grounds.On Oct. 6, police received a report of a 13-year-old Lansford girl making derogatory remarks to another girl on a bus at the middle school. She was charged with harassment.On Aug. 9, police received a report of a 15-year-old Summit Hill girl, who had drug paraphernalia and alcohol in her bedroom. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and intoxicating beverages.On Oct. 22, police were called to the station at 11:09 p.m. to find Summit Hill resident Jeffrey Tee, of 3 N. Market St., Apt. 3, intoxicated. He was charged with public drunkenness.On Oct. 20, police were called at 7:30 p.m. to 129 E. Fell St., where borough resident Marie Caruso, 51, of 128 Hazard St., Apt. 105, was threatening a person. She was charged with harassment.On Oct. 11 at 9:46 p.m., police were called to the Schoolhouse Apartments on Hazard Street for a disturbance. They found Donald Zarillo, 29, of apartment 208, causing a disturbance in his apartment. He also assaulted a woman there. He was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.In September, there was a rash of thefts from vehicles in the borough. An investigation revealed that Robert Clifford III, 20, of 16 W. Abbott St., Lansford, was responsible. Police said he also damaged a camera at a house where one of the vehicles was parked. He was charged with five counts each of theft from a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property; and one count of criminal mischief.Police also said someone complained at a recent borough council meeting about people walking in the streets dressed in dark clothing. They are asked to stay on the sidewalks.Also, police have a number of bicycles and keys in the lost-and-found at the police station. Anyone missing such items are asked to come in and identify them to get them back.
