Lansford police filed new charges against a borough woman whose dog attacked and killed two other dogs in late March and early April.
Sgt. Shawn Nunemacher filed new charges against Brianna Koschak, 36, related to her dog getting out again and attempting to attack a neighbor’s dog, he said Friday.
Nunemacher filed a misdemeanor charge of dogs outside dwelling/enclosure not physically restrained and a summary charge of unlawful to allow dogs to run at large at District Judge Beth Dodson’s office.
A preliminary arraignment and hearing are scheduled for Oct. 28 before Dodson for the latest incident, which occurred Sept. 1.
Koschak also faces charges in a previous attack on April 1, when two small dogs and a child were attacked. Days earlier, Koschak’s two children took the dog for a walk, which resulted in the dog running from them and then attacking and killing another dog, court papers said.
Koschak is scheduled for a pretrial conference on Oct. 29 on the earlier charges.
