The North Campus of Schuylkill Technology Center will host an open house from 6-7:30 p.m. today at 101 Technology Drive, Frackville.

It is an opportunity for prospective students, current students, parents, industry partners, alumni and postsecondary colleges to come together to experience what career and technical education has to offer.

Visitors can tour the diesel, automotive technology, outdoor power technology, masonry, carpentry, electro-mechanical technology, health careers, emerging health professionals, health careers, culinary, HVAC and early childhood care and education programs.

The center’s adult education program staff will also be on-site to meet with prospective adult learners seeking training in CDL, automotive technology, medical assisting, practical nursing and massage therapy programs.

Medical Assisting students will offer free blood pressure screenings, while the culinary program will have food for purchase.
