The Carbon County Labor Chapter will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Democratic Information Center at 182 S. First St. in downtown Lehighton.

Please note that the chapter usually meets the third Thursday of each month.Among the agenda items will be a discussion of the plans for the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Jim Thorpe. The chapter will also discuss support of local food banks and the results of the chapter's High School Essay Contest.The chapter is open to active and retired members of labor unions in the Carbon County and Hazleton area.
