Prohibition Director John T. Davis stated today that in the event of an epidemic of influenza in the state, and where it can be reasonably shown that shiskey is an alternative, he will provide the necessary amounts to reputable physicians to prescribe for patients. "If it can be shown that whiskey is necessary to prevent an epidemic, this department will see that all legitimate calls are provided," he said.
