Palmerton residents are once again urged to lock their vehicles as a rash of car burglaries continues.

Palmerton Police Chief Randy Smith said upward of 40 unlocked vehicles have been broken into, with the perpetrators stealing cash only.Smith cautioned residents to lock their vehicles at all times.
