It's a repeat performance for the Brock McGuire Band when they return to the Tamaqua Community Arts Center on Saturday.

The band has been at the forefront of Irish music through the years, led by founding members Paul Brock and Manus McGuire, who hail from Ireland's County Clare. While much of the band's music is steeped in Irish tradition, there's also a sprinkling of American Bluegrass, French Canadian and Celtic traditional music.Rounding out the quartet are Dublin based Garry O'Meara and Denis Carey from County Tipperary. The band's newest CD, "Green Grass, Blue Grass," is a collaboration with 14 time Grammy Award winner Ricky Skaggs.Currently on tour in the United states, the band will be performing in Tamaqua between concerts in New York City and Washington, D.C.The concert will begin at 7 p.m. April 23 at the art center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua.
