At this Monday's meeting of Weissport Borough Council, secretary Jillyan Sterling pointed out that Weissport police have placed warning notices on seven unregistered or unlicensed vehicles that are notably parked on borough streets.
Council member Arland Moyer said that the 10-day warning period expired on Oct. 15. Council agreed to have the police department follow up with the next step and proceed with citations and magistrate involvement.Council President Gene Kershner reminded council members and residents in attendance that the first meeting to discuss the 2016 borough budget would be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
