Area police reported on the following incidents:
• State police at Frackville responded to a residence along Rattlin Run Road in East Union Township Jan. 10 at 5:25 p.m. for a report of a trespassing complaint.
Upon investigation it was determined that Dean Joseph Zelinsky, 55, of Zion Grove, entered the driveway of a 60-year-old woman from Ringtown, and walked around the premises without any permission. He was charged with criminal trespass.
• A Carbon County driver is facing charges in Berks County. State police at Hamburg said on Jan. 16 at 3:49 a.m. they stopped a 2020 Hyundai Elantra along Pleasant View Drive at Justa Road in Tilden Township, for an expired registration. The driver, Joseph Narzaez, 44, of Lehighton, was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. He was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence and drug possession. Charges are pending.
• State police at Schuylkill Haven reported charges against Jeffrey Roberts, 27, of Orwigsburg. On Jan. 17 at 11:55 p.m. a traffic stop was made at Route 183 in Wayne Township. Roberts was a passenger in the vehicle and had an active warrant for his arrest. A search of the vehicle was conducted and various narcotics were found. Roberts was then transported to the county prison in Pottsville on the warrant.
• State police at Schuylkill Haven were dispatched to 1544 Route 61 in North Manheim Township at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 22, where a vehicle sustained minor damage. As a result troopers said a criminal mischief charge will be filed against William Dale, 68, of Tamaqua. The listed victim is a 51-year-old woman from Minersville.
