It is a drive-through event being held in the church grove. Admission is free but donations are welcome.Safe Driver courseFormerly 55-Alive, the new Smart Driver course is designed for qualified drivers 50 and older. There are no tests and membership in the AARP is not necessary. All automobile insurance companies doing business in Pennsylvania are required by state law to give a minimum discount of 5 percent to all qualified policyholders age 55 and over who take the course. Participants should be sure to first check with their insurance agent or company to make sure they qualify to receive a discount.The next class is at the Chestnuthill Park building on Brodheadsville this Saturday and on Dec. 12, beginning at 1 p.m. each day.
