Jim Thorpe Class 1965 will meet for lunch at noon on Thursday at The Molly McGuire's Pub.Halloween partyThe Sunday School of St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold its annual Halloween party on Monday from 6:30-8 p.m. The party is for nursery through sixth grade. Prizes will be awarded in various costume categories.Class of 1965Members of the Jim Thorpe High School class of 1965 will hold a luncheon on Thursday at J.T's. (Molly McGuire's) at noon. All are invited.Veterans Day paradeThe 2015 Veterans Day Parade will be held on Nov. 8 in Jim Thorpe. The parade will follow a route on the east side of town, forming at the Jim Thorpe High School. Rain date is Nov. 15.
