The Carbon County community in opposition to the PennEast/UGI pipeline will come together to celebrate their successes, to voice their opposition to the pipeline and to enjoy an evening of camaraderie, fun, good food and music.

From 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, affected landowners, environmentalists and other concerned residents will gather at the Big Creek Grange, located on Grange Road off Pohopoco Drive near Beltzville State Park.The "Blowout" is being hosted by Roy and Linda Christman, who are landowners impacted by the pipeline.Food will be provided and guests will bring a dish to share. There will be music by "Free Range Folk" a popular Jim Thorpe Bluegrass band.The evening will feature Tara Zrinksi from Food and Water Watch, a nationwide organization concerned with pure water and healthy food.Local landowners affected by the pipeline will also speak.
