Lebanon Valley College’s Pride of The Valley Marching Band features more than 140 students this year.

The marching band performs at all home football games along with various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

Local students include:

Lehighton: Kamryn Krause, a graduate of Lehighton Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.

Summit Hill: Mia Perilli, a graduate of Panther Valley High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts and bachelor of science in music and music education at The Valley. Perilli is the horn section leader.

Tamaqua: Nick Beltz, a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of music in music production at The Valley; Sofia Figueroa, a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in music education at The Valley.

Lebanon Valley College, founded in 1866, offers 50 majors in the health professions, sciences, education, business and digital media, and the arts and humanities.

Hands-on learning, internships, and research are emphasized.

LVC offers five direct-entry (bachelor’s to master’s) programs to streamline graduates’ entry into Valley graduate programs in business and the health professions.
