The Schuylkill County Fair continues through Saturday at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds in Summit Station. Here’s a look at the schedule:

Senior appreciation today

• A mini horse performance will be held in the horse barn at 3 p.m. At 4 p.m., amusement rides open. Livestock sale buyers may check in at the Ag Arena at 4 p.m.

• A tractor parade will be held from the main gate at 4:30 p.m. The 4-H/FFA livestock auction and awards will be held from the Ag Arena at 5 p.m.

• Registration for the cornhole tournament will begin at 5 p.m. from the Ag Museum track, and the tournament follows at 6 p.m. Menagerie in Motion with Possum Patty will be held at 6 p.m. from the indoor midway.

• From 6-7:30 p.m., meet the 4-H Club members and their horses in the horse barn. An equine demonstration will be held at 7 p.m. from the horse barn.

• At 7 and 9 p.m., Jimmy Holmes, Graceland’s 2025 ultimate Elvis, will perform with The Spin-Outs from the main stage.

Friday

Friday is Military/First Responders Day at the Schuylkill County Fair with free admission for all veterans, military and first responders.

• A number of activities will be held in addition to exhibits, food, music and entertainment, including an animal obstacle course at 3 p.m. from the Ag Arena. From 3-6 p.m., stop by the horse barn for a lucky horseshoe craft. Amusement rides will open at 4 p.m., and a tractor parade takes off from the main gate at 4:30 p.m.

• From 5-6:30 p.m., meet the 4-H club members and their horses at the horse barn, and at 5:30 p.m., visit the horse barn for an equine demonstration.

• The Keystone Herpetological Institute will have a program at 6 p.m. from the indoor midway, and a sawmill and threshing demonstration will happen near the main gate at 6 p.m.

• A presentation of colors gets underway at 6:45 p.m., and military and first responders will be recognized from the stage at 7 p.m. DJ Chicken Nugget will have line dancing at the Ag Arena at 7 p.m., and a kids/adult hay bale toss will be held at 7 p.m. from the kids arena.

• At 7 and 9 p.m., Dave Bray USA will perform from the main stage.

The fair’s theme is “Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom, Family and PA Farms.”
