Towamensing Township supervisors held their reorganization meeting on Thursday.

Board positions were voted on and remain the same with Guy Seifert as chairman and John Kleintop as vice chairman.

Other positions voted on were Scott Mosier as roadmaster, Jessica Ahner at secretary, John Kleintop as treasurer, Jan Cool as clerk and Susan Marques as tax collector.

Thomas Nanovich will remain as the solicitor and Carl Faust as Zoning Officer. The alternate Zoning Officer is Marjorie Faust.

The engineering firm will be Keystone Consulting Engineers.

Carl Faust was voted as both Building Code Officer and Building Code Inspection Officer. The Sewage Enforcement Officer will be Ian Farrell, with Steve Gitch as the alternate.

The mileage rate will be 5.67.

The next regular supervisors meeting is at 7 p.m. Feb. 1.

Joe Strausberger will be appointed for a one-year term as auditor.

The Towamensing Township Volunteer Fire Company satisfaction of the 2017 mortgage of $226,500 will be notarized.
