Faith Alive Church in Bowmanstown held its annual Fall Ladies Luncheon on Oct. 28.
The dramatic presentation of “This is My Story,” written by Pastor Lela Hartranft, blessed all those who attended. They heard renditions of Biblical accounts about changed lives from those who had an encounter with Jesus.
Actresses presented what was imagined to be “first hand” accounts from The Woman at The Well (portrayed by Jaime Swatt), The Woman with an Issue of Blood (portrayed by Lena Lindeman), and An Adulterous Woman (portrayed by Pam Gross).
Special music selections were interwoven and presented by Celeste Leininger and Jan Lazarchak. Following the presentation, there were plenty of good soups and desserts.
The Women’s Winter Blues Buster (hot chocolate social) is Feb. 3, the Spring Ladies Luncheon (presenter Deb Davies from Bible Study Fellowship) is April 20 and the Fall Ladies Luncheon (Jessie Seneca from More of Him ministries) is Oct. 19.
