Tick prevention

From the Tick Research Labor of Pennsylvania: As the temperature begins to drop, remember tick season is still in full swing. Fall is notorious for outdoor activities like scenic walks, hunting, hiking, as well as backyard activities such as raking the leaves and jumping into the piles.

Added in the recent information is that ticks are commonly found in leaf litter.

The local Tick Research Lab is located at East Stroudsburg University.
