In addition to the annual Veterans Day parade, Carbon County Veterans Affairs office has announced several upcoming events to honor veterans.

• On Nov. 6, a ruck march/Walk with A Vet from Mauch Chunk Lake Park will begin at 7 a.m.

• A campfire and supper at Mauch Chunk Lake Park will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. Attendees are asked to bring a chair.

• On Nov. 8, the Veterans Hub of NEPA will hold an Open House at 1 p.m. The hub is located at St. Luke’s Lehighton.

• At 9:15 a.m. on Nov. 9, the county will hold its annual Veterans Day service in Josiah White Park. All are welcome.

• At 5 p.m. on Nov. 10 the Second Annual Veterans Day dinner and resource fair at Penn’s Peak.
