South Carbon retains game lead after billiards

With three days of competition in the books, South Carbon County continues to lead the 2024 Senior Games with a combined score of 336; but North Carbon County is continuing the fight with a combined team score of 234.

Who will be left standing when all the dust settles from the two weeks of competition? We’ll have to wait and see.

Anne Horrigan, director of the games, said that there are a few changes to next week’s games.

Monday will be a rest day with no activities taking place. This is due to the weather that rained out miniature golf today, forcing officials to move bowling from Monday to today.

The miniature golf event at Heisler’s in the Lewistown Valley will now take place on May 16 as the official last event for this year’s games.

Thursday’s events included billiards.
