State police at the Fern Ridge barracks have a black purse that was found in a Jim Thorpe park.

Police said it was given to them at 11:02 a.m. March 22 at 127 Parkside Ave., Tobyhanna Township.

The purse contained a wallet, susglasses, gift cards, jewelry, perfume and other items.
