The Lehighton Downtown Partnership will hold a food drive as part of its Second Saturday this weekend.

The LDP is calling it “Fall In Love with Lehighton,” which will include a food drive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lower Park off First Street to collect nonperishable items for families in Lehighton in need.

In addition, there will be a Mac n Cheese contest among the borough’s downtown businesses. People are invited to do free taste testings of the Mac n Cheese and vote whose is the best.
