Lehigh Valley crashes

State police at Fogelsville reported on the following crashes:

• A Slatington driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 6:19 p.m. on Sept. 22 along Route 309 at Interstate 78 in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said a 17-year-old girl was driving a 2009 Honda Civic in the left lane when an SUV traveling in the right lane, drifted into the left lane. The teen swerved to avoid a collision and her vehicle hit a concrete barrier.

The teen sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene by Cetronia ambulance personnel. The vehicle was towed.

• A Tamaqua driver was involved in a two-vehicle crash at 3:22 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the intersection of Golden Key Road and Interstate 78 East, in Weisenberg Township.

State police at Fogelsville said Anna S. Beradi, 20, of New Tripoli, was driving a 2008 Suzuki SX4 southbound while Jeffrey H. Nunemacher, 42, of Tamaqua, was driving a 2012 Subaru Forester northbound. Beradi was in the left turn lane and failed to yield to oncoming traffic and turned left into the path of Nunemacher. Nunemacher’s vehicle struck Beradi’s. After impact the Suzuki overturned onto its left side and struck a guide barrier where it came to rest.

No injuries were reported. Troopers cited Beradi for the incident.
