ENTERTAINMENT AROUND THE AREA

Music from the last 50-plus years will fill local and regional venues over the next couple of weeks. Whether it’s the original acts - The Turtles, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Ace Frehley, to name a few - or tribute acts re-creating the magic of past eras, music fans will have their pick of entertainment options.

Sci-fi movie fans should not despair, as they will have the chance to meet the two “Valley Girls” from “Night of the Comet.” With Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney appearing in the flesh, cannibal zombies and evil scientists, though, should steer clear of Lehighton’s Mahoning Drive-In Theater.
