State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of two catalytic converters at two separate locations in Schuylkill County.

The state department of environmental protection reported a converter was removed from a Ford F250 truck it owns. It was parked in a lot at the state owned property along Meadow Drive in South Manheim Township, sometime between May 13 and 16. Value was estimated at $469.11.

The second theft occurred at the Paint & Place business along Sunbury Road in Barry Township. The converter was removed from a Ford vehicle sometime between May 23 and 31. Value was estimated at $1,500.
