State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents:

• Brandon Wasser, 19, of Schuylkill Haven, was charged with DUI on May 16 at 10:58 p.m. at a crash scene along Route 61 at Seven Stars Road in North Manheim Township.

• On May 31 at 9:56 a.m. troopers attempted to stop a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle along Mill Creek Avenue at Second Street, in East Norwegian Township, for a equipment violation. The driver, identified as Christopher Steckel, 32, of Pottsville, took off at a high rate of speed northbound on Route 61 through Pottsville. He turned onto Mill Creek Road and was finally forced to stop at the intersection with Market Street.

He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several bottles of alcohol. A records check showed his license was suspended - DUI related.

Charges of fleeing or eluding police, DUI and other counts will be filed.
