College Consensus has recognized Northampton Community College in their survey of the Best Online Associates in Social Work for 2021.

Although the program is not 100% online, the majority of courses can be taken online.

This program is especially important during our current public health crisis, thus, showing how much our society relies on the work of the employees in this field.

The ranking was determined by factors that included flexibility in course work, support in the program, and the ability of the college and program to help students meet academic goals.

“If you are interested in helping people and making our systems fairer, the NCC social work program will provide you with a strong foundation to build your roots in the social work profession. Social workers value social justice, human dignity and making the world a better place,” says Hope Horowitz, professor of sociology and social work at NCC.
