Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following matters on Tuesday:

• The resignation of long-term substitute teacher Mark McDermott, effective Dec. 4.

• The appointment of Wendy Brown as a substitute cafeteria worker for the 2020-21 school year at the 2020-21 substitute rate as approved on the Supplemental Personnel Salary Schedule.

• A stipend of $550 for creating the Peters Elementary School Yearbook for the 2020-21 school year, to be funded by the Peters Elementary School budget.

• A stipend of $650 for creating the Slatington Elementary School Yearbook for the 2020-2021 school year, to be funded by the Slatington Elementary School budget.

• The appointment of Kayla Perkowski, Peters Elementary Yearbook, $550.

• To pay for Pennsylvania School Boards Association 24-hour accident insurance for administrators at a cost of $26.50 per administrator per year in 2021, to be paid from the district superintendent’s budget.

• Rejected the adoption of an early retirement incentive plan, which would have been for all eligible professional employees of the Northern Lehigh Education Association, on a voluntary basis, for the 2020-21 school year.
