State police at Fern Ridge

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

• On Sept. 2 at 11:22 a.m. troopers were dispatched to a residence along Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a report of two people arguing in the parking lot of a Turkey Hill store. As a result of an investigation the two, identified as Susan Petry, 61, of Gilbert, and Kenneth Reddick, 37, of Effort, were issued citations for harassment.

• On Aug. 30 at 4:14 p.m. troopers observed a 2020 Lexus GX460 fail to stop for a stop sign. Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver continued on at accelerated speed. After the vehicle almost crashed, the driver pulled to the side of the road.

Through a further investigation the driver, identified as Frank Passarella, 44, of Port Jefferson, New York, was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody. He refused a blood draw. Charges were filed.

• On Sept. 1 at 11:20 a.m. troopers responded to Hunter Lane and Indian Mountain Lakes, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, for an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Both had redness on their right upper arms due to a physical altercation. As a result a 46-year-old woman and 47-year-old man, both from Albrightsville, were cited for harassment, physical contact. Troopers declined to identify the suspects.

• On Aug. 11 at 7:27 p.m. troopers responded to Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, for a report of a dog bite. While on scene it was discovered the victim, a 9-year-old boy from Saylorsburg, was bitten by a unleashed dog. The dog owner, a 58-year-old man from Saylorsburg, who troopers declined to identify, was cited.
