Lehigh Township’s Regional Traffic Safety Program will be conducting various operations within Northampton County this month.

Police will conduct roving patrols looking for impaired driving, high-risk drinking, underage drinking, aggressive driving, and drivers who fail to use their seat belts or secure children in a vehicle without a proper car seat.

They will also conduct two impaired driving checkpoints during the month, which will be within participating departments and will occur during the evening and nighttime hours. The specific days/hours/locations will not be released.
