One injured in crash on Mile Hill in Kline Twp.

One person was seriously injured Saturday night in a crash on the Mile Hill in Kline Township. The accident occurred around 8 p.m. as the driver was traveling north on Route 309.

The person failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway crossing over all four lanes. The vehicle entered the berm climbing up an embankment traveling several hundred feet before striking several trees.

The car then flipped onto its roof.

Fire companies from Hometown, McAdoo and Hazle township responded to the scene taking part in the lengthy extrication of the victim.

The victim was flown by Medevac helicopter to a area trauma center.

Hometown fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. Kline township police are investigating the incident.
