Monroe business cited by PLCB

A Monroe County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Brother Bruno’s Mount Pocono Inc., Mount Pocono, was cited on March 9 for failure to post in a conspicuous place on the outside of the licensed premises, or in a window plainly visible from the outside, a notice of suspension. Also, on the same date the business was cited for sold, furnished and/or gave alcoholic beverages during a time when the restaurant liquor license was suspended.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to$1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also imposed a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
