Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) is holding drive-in worship services each Sunday. This will continue until the coronavirus no-social gathering orders are lifted.

Worshippers are asked to remain in their vehicles and tune to FM 104.3 to hear the service. You can also check it out on the church website and Facebook.

St. John’s Lutheran Church

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton will again be hosting a 10:30 a.m. drive-in worship service on Sunday, Pastor Jody will lead the service through an amplification system in the parking lot so all can hear. Come and join in the service.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton invites people to their Zoom worship on Sunday. Worship is at 10 a.m. Bible study is also on Zoom and is held Wednesdays at 11 a.m.

Bethany Wesleyan Church

Bethany Wesleyan Church, 457 Delaware Ave., Palmerton joins with other Bethany Wesleyan Churches on Sunday at Becky’s Drive-in at 10:45 a.m. or join the BWC Online gathering live on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Curbside Funnel Cake Nights

Curbside Funnel Cake Nights hosted by the Parryville Fire Company #2, 359 Main St., Parryville, will be held every other Saturday beginning May 16, from 6-9 p.m. Will be serving one size funnel cake, Zimmies and bottled water. Cash only. Message the company or call ahead at 610-852-2350 for large orders. Otherwise pull up and they will make your funnel cake.

Electronics recycling event

An electronics recycling event will be held May 21 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Palmerton Borough Garage, 402 Third St. Noncontact. Please have cash/check ready (exact change please). You must stay in your car. Items will be unloaded for you. The list of free items accepted and the cost of those that will require a fee can be found on the Palmerton Borough website or Facebook.

Jerusalem UCC

Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville, will again be livestreaming on Facebook beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday. The video will also be on the website.
