The management of the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe has decided to postpone its shows through the month of May, with the exception of the May 31 show featuring Tom Green, the comedian.

That show is still scheduled, as the Opera House awaits word from the state as to when larger gatherings of people will again be permitted.

They will inform their patrons whenever this information becomes available.

In the meantime, their policy has been to attempt to reschedule shows that have had to be postponed. They continue to request that customers who have already purchased tickets to an upcoming show to please hold on to their tickets if they can make the rescheduled date for that show, if it has indeed been rescheduled. Or else the price of the tickets can be used as a credit for another future show.
