Arthritis Foundation’s Walk with Ease program

Whether you need relief from arthritis pain or just want to be active, the Arthritis Foundation’s Walk With Ease program can teach you how to safely make physical activity part of your life.

This is an evidence-based program proven to reduce the pain and discomfort of arthritis; increase balance, strength and walking pace; build confidence in your ability to be physically active; and improve overall health.

This six-week course (three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 to 2 p.m.) is offered at no charge and includes a Walk With Ease book. The program is held indoors at the Tamaqua YMCA
