LVH-Muhlenberg 57th annual summer festival

Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg’s 57th annual summer festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Aug. 18 and from noon to 5 p.m. on Aug. 19 on the north side of the hospital campus near routes 22 and 378. The celebration is one of the hospital’s largest fundraisers.

Admission is free and the event will include free entertainment, food, craft show and new children’s activities.

On Saturday, “GirlCrue” will be performing at 1 p.m. followed by “The Large Flowerheads” at 5 p.m. On Sunday, School of Rock will be performing at 1 p.m.

The newest addition to this year’s festival will be food trucks.

There will be a free pirate show that will teach parents and their kids the tricks of the trade. Visitors can check out the magician, face painter and clown crafting a variety of balloon figures.

A unique selection of handcrafted items will also be for sale by artisans from around the country.
