Several people were injured in a three-vehicle crash along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County, that occurred at 4:41 p.m. Monday.

State police at Frackville said Tina M. Pruitt, 57, of Berwick, was southbound in the left lane behind slow moving traffic when her 2014 Chevrolet Equinox was struck in the rear by a 2013 Mazda CX9 driven by Letitia A. Bradbury, 41, of Forest, Virginia. Troopers said a 2006 International Harvester tractor with trailer, driven by Tyler M. Rodgers, 24, of Saint Clair, then hit the rear of the Mazda. Both southbound lanes were closed for a period of time. Traffic was able to continue moving with vehicles using the west shoulder of the road.

Letitia and passengers, four passengers, 7-year-old boys, were injured and taken to an area hospital by Ryan Township ambulance. Troopers did not indicate if Pruitt and her passengers Jonathan A. Pruitt, 58, and a 7-year-old boy, were injured. Rodgers was not injured.

Troopers cited Bradbury for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
