Lehighton state police

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents.

• Thomas J. Howard, 66, of Saylorsburg, is facing a charge of failure to obey atraffic sign as a result of a two-vehicle crash that took place at 5:27 p.m. July 22 at the intersection of Old Route 115 and Lake Road in Ross Township. Howard was driving a 2014 Ford Fiesta that failed to yield to a northbound 2014 Subaru Impreza driven northbound on Route 115 by Melissa A. Doll, 32, of Albrightsville, causing the vehicles to crash in the intersection. Police said both drivers sustained suspected minor injuries. The two vehicles received heavy front-end damages.• State police are investigating the theft of $600 in cash from a 40-year-old Polk Township resident. The victim told police someone stole the money from her wallet between 2:30-5 p.m. July 16 at 1061 Interchange Road in the township.• A Palmerton man was cited for disorderly conduct after an incident at 2:32 p.m. July 10on Oak Street in Lower Towamensing Township. Police were summoned to the Stoney Ridge Apartments when the man was yelling at his neighbors. The victims are a man and woman, both from Palmerton.• Jeffrey Moyer, 33, of Parryville, will be cited for harassment after police were called toCentre Street in Parryville at 1:14 a.m. July 18. The victim is a 27-year-old woman who reported she and Moyer were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical when the accused engaged in physical contact with the victim.• State police are investigating a harassment case that happened at 1:50 p.m. April 13 in the 100 block of Big Buck Drive in Saylorsburg, Ross Township. Police were called there when a verbal argument between a 32-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, both from Saylorsburg, turned physical. The woman is listed by police as the victim of the incident.• An unknown suspect used the identity information of a 57-year-old Lower Towamensing Township woman to open a credit card account without the victim's permission and/or knowledge on June 24 ata Craig Street residence in the township.• A 27-year-old East Penn Township woman was cited for harassment by state police at the Lehighton barracks after an incident at 8:55

p.m.Fridayon Kocher Lane in the township. The victim is a 45-year-old East Penn Township man. Police responded to a report of a verbal argument taking place at the above location and upon arrival learned the woman struck the man.
