The band's next number is selections from "Annie," featuring the songs: "It's the Hard Knock Life," "NYC," "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile," "Maybe," "Easy Street," "I Don't Need Anything But You" and of course "Tomorrow."The band's chronological order of shows then will take the audience to Oz with selections from "The Wiz," whose movie version featured Michael Jackson and Diana Ross. Songs include "Is This What Feeling Gets?" "Slide Some Oil to Me," "Home," "Ease on Down the Road," "Believe in Yourself" and "He's the Wizard."The next number in the concert is "They're Playing My Song" from the musical "They're Playing Our Song," followed by selections from "The Phantom of the Opera," which includes "Think of Me," "Angel of Music," "The Phantom of the Opera," "All I Ask of You," "The Point of No Return" and "The Music of the Night."The band's final medley of the evening will take the audience back to the city of Oz, with music from the wildly popular show "Wicked," which includes "No One Mourns the Wicked," "Dancing Through Life," "Defying Gravity" and "For Good."Lehighton band concerts would not be complete without a march to end the evening, and sticking with the Broadway theme, the band will play a quickstep march version of "Hello Dolly."As always, the Lehighton Band Concerts under the stars series are free to the public, and the band thanks the newly formed Lehighton Parks and Recreation committee for including its annual series of three concerts in the park with the music in the parks events. The band is under the direction of Bradly R.
