Tamaqua police recently filed several citations.

Daniel J. Dannenfelser, 41, ofCherry Street, Tamaqua, was cited after he threatened a 14-year-old boy on Feb. 27.The victim was walking home from school that day when he was confronted by a boy, who made an obscene gesture before running away.The other boy then returned, accompanied by Dannenfelser, who threatened the 14-year-old and punched him in the head.The adult was charged with harassment.George E. Roberts, 28, ofNorth Avenue, Jim Thorpe, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on March 24.Roberts was hanging around the parking lot at 1314 E. Broad St., prompting employees to call police about a suspicious vehicle. Officers found Roberts in a white Dodge with a rifle on the front passenger seat. After being given permission to search the Dodge police also found two hypodermic needles and a small, empty plastic bag.Justin P. Hill, 25, ofWest Bertsch Street, Lansford, was cited for retail theft on March 25 after he shoplifted a pack of touch up paint and two car air fresheners from Tom's Auto and Marine, 250 S. Greenwood St.Renado Natal, 40, ofHunter Street, Tamaqua, was cited for retail theft after he attempted to steal fabric softener from the Dollar General Store, 1213 E. Broad St., on March 23. The item was valued at $4.19.This was Natal's fourth arrest for retail theft.
