State police at the Lehighton barracks reported on the following incidents.• Police said a Palmerton man is facing charges of driving under the influence after a one-vehicle crash at 3:39

a.m.Saturday. Police responded tothe area of 500 Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township for a report of a crash, after which time they learned a black Dodge Stratus slid on ice and struck a snow bank. Upon investigating, police discovered the man was under the influence, he was requested to submit to a chemical test of his blood.• A 40-year-old Lansford woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop made by state police at 9:28

p.m.Saturday in the area of Route 209 and Bridge Street in Lehighton.The woman was stopped for a traffic violation, after which time police learned she was driving while under the influence of drugs. She was taken for a blood test. Police said charges will be filed pending laboratory test results.• Two people were cited for harassment after state police were summoned to an incident at 4:31

p.m.Saturday ata West Lizard Creek Road location in rural Lehighton. A 33-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, both from Lehighton, were cited after a verbal altercation they were involved in became physical.• A 77-year-old man who lives along Smith Road in Jim Thorpe reported that he is unable to locate his Browning BDA380 pistol. The theft took place between Feb. 8 and March 8. The man said there were no signs of a burglary at his residence since he last saw the gun. It is valued at $420.• State police were summoned to investigate a theft that took place March 10 in East Penn Township, but police said the victim in the incident does not want charges pressed against the suspect.The victim is a 61-year-old woman fromBritt Drive in the township. A 31-year-old woman from Lehighton is the suspect. Police said they were told the suspect walked into the victim’s bedroom, removed a mirror off the wall and left the residence with the mirror.
