There are supervisor, tax collector and auditor positions to be filled in 2017 by the voters in the 11 townships that make up Carbon County.
Below is a listing of the positions that are up for grabs:Banks Township: one supervisor, six-year-term; two auditors, one for a two-year term and one for a six-yearterm; and one tax collector, four-year term.East Penn Township: two supervisors, six-year terms; two auditors, one for a four-year term and one for a six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Franklin Township: one supervisor, six-year term; one auditor, six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Kidder Township: two supervisors, six-year terms; one auditor, six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Lausanne Township: two supervisors, one for a four-year term and one for a six-year term; two auditors, one for a two-year term and one for a six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Lehigh Township: one supervisor, six-year term; two auditors, one for a four-year term and one for a six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Lower Towamensing Township: one supervisor, six-year term; one auditor, six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Mahoning Township: one supervisor, six-year term; one auditor, six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Packer Township: one supervisor, six-year term; two auditors, one for a two-year term and one for a six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Penn Forest Township: two supervisors, one for a two-year term and one for a six-year term; one auditor, six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Towamensing Township: one supervisor, six-year term; two auditors, one for a two-year term and one for a six-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.
