A Lehighton area man was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash along Route 443 in West Penn Township. The crash occurred at 5 p.m. as he was operating his motorcycle east at the intersection with Spring Road. A young man reportedly stopped at the stop sign on Spring Road and pulled out into the path of the biker. The bike went down, sliding along the roadway and coming to rest in the westbound lane.
