James J. Sverchek of Lehighton was notified that he has attained the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of Pittsburgh, earning a 3.95 for the semester.

James is a student in the Swanson School of Engineering studying civil and environmental engineering.James also continues to maintain his honor student ranking in the engineering school. He is currently a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Engineers Without Borders and the Pittsburgh Chapter Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success.He is currently employed as a summer engineering intern by AECOM Technology Corporation in their Pittsburgh office.James is the son of Mark and Anne Sverchek of Lehighton and grandson of the late John and Veronica Sverchek of Lansford and William and Anna Corkill of Jim Thorpe.
