Locals, Santa Dwight Frey and Mrs. Claus-Lois Nunnermacker, will attend "Discover Santa 2016," along with more than 1,000 other professional Mr. and Mrs. Clauses in Branson, Missouri, from July 6-10.

The convention, also known as "The Kringle Family Reunion" will host Santas from all over the United States as well as in some parts of Australia, Asia and Europe.This year will be the 10th anniversary of the original Discover Santa Convention, which was also held in Branson.Some activities include "SNO-lympics," a series of games among the Clauses; "Meet the Kringles," a fashion show and gala dinner; two days of workshops to train them to be "professional Santas"; and "The Kringle Family Showcase," a market for any Santa-needed accessories. There will also be dinner shows.
