A Pet Safety program will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at St. Peter Community Resource Center, 177 Main Road, Lehighton in Franklin Township.

In addition to learning why you should not allow your pet to remain in a hot car, there will be discussion about poisonous plants, symptoms of dehydration, finding a lost dog or cat and fleas and ticks remedies.This seminar will also share why you should never take wildlife home.The program is sponsored by the Beltzville Lions, in cooperation with Pet Angel Animal Watch Society,Anyone with questions about Beltzville Lions or PAAWS should call 610-533-9311.
