Carbon County Commissioners approved the following personnel items:

• Hire Hollianne C. Snyder of Catasauqua as a full-time assistant public defender, effective May 9.• Court appointment of Rachel L. Moyer of Weatherly as a domestic relations officer I, effective May 2.• Internship of Kelsey Andrews of Lehighton in court administration. Andrews, who is a student at the University of Scranton, will complete her internship from May 31 to Aug. 25.- Amy Miller
