Fire companies from Carbon and Schuylkill counties were on the scene of a dwelling fire in the 200 block of East Bertsch Street in Lansford early Tuesday. The fire was first reported at 9:30 p.m. Monday, with the first people on scene reporting a working dwelling fire. The unit is half of a double block wood frame single-family dwelling.
