The Misericordia University National Occupational Therapy Honor Society Chapter, Pi Theta Epsilon, as well as student chapters from the University of the Sciences, Temple University and Salus University, recently co-hosted an intercollegiate presentation at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia by three occupational therapists from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Jennifer Snyder of Palmerton, vice president to the honor society, was a participant.The program, with 84 representatives of students and faculty from the Misericordia University Departments of Physical and Occupational Therapy, outlined the revolutionary rehabilitation process of Zion Harvey, the world's first pediatric bilateral hand transplant patient, as well as a reception afterward that enabled students from the host universities to network.More than 160 people attended the program that was given by three occupational therapists from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
