Tamaqua Police are trying to determine how the operator of a tractor trailer swerved from the south bound lane of Center Street into the northbound lane where it collided with a parked car.

The woman had just parked her car in front of the Tamaqua Diner and was only feet from it when it was rammed.

Center Street is also busy Route 309.
