A convicted Ohio sex offender on Monday admitted to secretly recording a young Carbon County girl as she undressed in her bedroom.

Bradley Taylor Jennings, 39, of Grafton, pleaded guilty before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic to having images of the 13-year-old girl in a state of undress. He was charged by state police at Lehighton on June 1, 2015.Nanovic accepted his plea, but deferred sentencing until Jennings had a Megan's Law evaluation to assess whether Jennings is likely to commit further sexual offenses against children.Megan's law was created after the death of 7-year-old Megan Kanka, a New Jersey girl who was raped and killed by a twice-convicted pedophile. The law allows state police to track offenders and notify the community of their presence.Jennings could get up to 10 years in prison and be fined $25,000, Nanovic said.According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by trooper Nicolas A. De La Iglesia, Jennings used a hidden video camera in the child's bedroom to record her changing clothes on at least three occasions around July 4, 2013.De La Iglesias received a report from the Ohio Attorney general's Bureau of Criminal Investigations that said Jennings had admitted on April 1, 2014, to making the recordings. On April 8, 2014, Lehighton state trooper Joseph Campbell and De La Iglesia interviewed the victim, who told them she had been unaware of the recording. She said Jennings was staying with her family at the time, and that she changed after swimming. She allowed the troopers to see her room, which was the same one shown in the recordings.Assistant Prosecutor Gary Hezel of the Trumbull, Ohio, County Prosecutor's Office gave De La Iglesia copies of the three recordings, and the search warrant used to get them.De La Iglesia identified the girl in the videos, and also saw Jennings, who captured images of his own face while hiding the camera before the child came into her bedroom.Jennings has been jailed in Carbon County Correctional Facility on $100,000 cash bail.Jennings, a podiatrist, was sentenced last year to 14 years in the Grafton Correctional Institution, Ohio, on similar charges. He was also ordered to register there as a sex offender for life.Jennings surrendered his medical license in Ohio on April 4, 2014, according to the state Medical Board.
